Speaker Series 2/18 @ 6:30 p.m.
Have you ever wondered what Ready, Respectful, Responsible means and how our school incorporates these values each day? Join us for an exciting speakers series as IUSD rep Marie Williams talks about the Three R’s. Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) helps establish the social culture, learning and teaching environment, and individual behavior supports needed to achieve academic and social success for all students. Learn more about PBIS by visiting the district website here.
The overall outcome of PBIS is to ensure ALL students have access to the most effective and accurately implemented instructional and behavioral practices and interventions possible. Attention is focused on creating and sustaining multi-tiered systems of support which include primary (school-wide), secondary (classroom), and tertiary (individual) systems that improve lifestyle results (personal, health, social, family, work, recreation) for all children and youth by making targeted behaviors less effective, efficient, and relevant, and desired behavior more functional.
