Assists with supporting the girls health education meeting in March.
Support from 5th grade parents.
6th Grade Guy Stuff
Assists with supporting the boys health education meeting held in the fall.
Support from 6th grade parents.
Assist with after school educational classes.
Sessions are in fall, winter, and spring.
Cultural Festival held in May.
Volunteers needed to assist with development of festival. Committee meets 1x month
Annual Book Fair held in the library.
Assistance needed with set up, take down and register sales.
Assists with the Jog-A-Thon event on the day of the event in March. Many volunteers needed!
Planning meetings occur 1x month.
Supports collection of box tops submitted throughout the year.
Labels for Education Box Tops are submitted 2x a year.
Keeps PTA informed on educational and legislative issues.
Clerical help with preparing materials for our classroom quarterly art program.
Collects and organizes membership dues and paperwork.
One of the largest fundraisers of the year. Responsibilities include collecting donations, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
City of Irvine “Say no to drugs” Program
Responsible for daily counting of money donated from classrooms (usually one week in October).
PTA sponsored multi-arts competiton. Assistance needed with art collection.
Coordinate restaurant fundraisers.
Room Rep. Coordinator
Responsible for communication to room representatives.
Coordinates speakers to discuss various topics.
Coordinates school spirit wear offerings and spirit wear sales and distribution
Coordinate week long staff appreciation activities and luncheon.
Assistance needed with staff lunch held one day in May.
Generate an online student directory early fall.
Work with front office to generate report in October.
Fitness program for students.
Weekly approx. from February – early May
Update PTA website to support PTA programs.
Work with PTA chairs to communicate with student families.
Assist staff with receiving Yearbook orders and distribution.
